up and down buttonhole feathered

Beaded up and down buttonhole stitch

hi friends.. today's post is beaded up and down buttonhole stitch....this stitch can be used for neck linings and for decorative stitches.....this looks feathery too..
for this particular i worked daisy flowers in between and filled these flowers using golden purls.......

now, lets go to the stitch....for this u need two strands of metallic thread, glass tubes and a needle of size #11

pierce out the fabric with the needle at the starting point...... and insert just right to the starting point and out down at the mid-point of the two , crating a v shape .....

then wrap the first stitch down .........

take out the needle and make a parallel stitch ...and without piercing the fabric , pass the needle through the wrap........

take a glass bead and insert the needle right to it and make a stitch of an angle 60 degrees ....
take out from the center and again make a wrap stitch

make a parallel stitch as you made for the first set..

take a glass bead again and do the feather stitch at the opposite direction........

do these set of stitches alternatively and create a feathery line......
hope u enjoy this stitch.....
